Dr. NeShante Brown is the Founder of Main Things, LLC. She serves as a Life in Leadership Coach and Strategic Advisor, supporting top‑level leaders in returning to what is essential. She helps leaders move beyond the noise of “the many” to stay rooted in “the few” things that truly shape purpose, impact, and legacy in life and leadership. These are the main things she is called to illuminate.
Her calling has always been to nurture growth, clarity, and grounded leadership.
Dr. Brown spent more than twenty years in the education sector in Memphis, TN, serving as a math teacher, school leader, and Executive Director of The Soulsville Charter School. She learned alongside brilliant students and remarkable colleagues who shaped her understanding of leadership, community, and sustainable service.
She also serves as First Lady of Light of Glory International Church, where she and her husband, Pastor Stephen L. Brown, have offered hope and healing for seventeen years. These experiences continue to teach her the weight of responsibility and the courage it takes to lead with both heart and conviction.
A proud Memphian, Dr. Brown earned her B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, her M.A.T. from Christian Brothers University, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College. She is also a certified professional coach who loves thoughtful books (especially audiobooks), dance cardio, discovering new plant‑based dishes, and time with her husband, their three children, and their dog.
